And indeed, there were lots of tourists from Southeast Asia. It had snowed the day before, so the roads and traffic were bad. But maybe they were happy to get to see snow instead? ha

Anyway, besides learning it’s a tourist hot spot, the sheer number of tourists was the second surprise…

Finally it was our turn to ride, so we moved along slowly following the announcements… You pretty much know what it’s like even without riding it, right?

These are the bikes we were going to ride. Looking at them now, they seemed like bumper cars from Everland? A bigger version? That’s what they looked like…

But once you actually get on… you pick up speed… It goes down a bit of a slope at the start and that speed surprised me. Some people up front were even screaming.

And we laughed at the sight of that hahaha

It snowed, so it’ll be freezing. It’s an outdoor activity so it’ll be tough… we picked the wrong day… I arrived in Chuncheon carrying all those worries and ended up getting on the rail

bike… But that very snow I’d worried about turned out to make it all the more fun… Even now, thinking back on it makes me smile…

I had to cover faces with stickers for privacy haha, but everyone was thrilled… pedaling away… admiring the snowy scenery here and there, feeling the cool? breeze…

Screaming, marveling, pedaling and sightseeing so hard I honestly have no idea where the time went ~~~

Each tunnel is decorated with its own theme and character. haha What a blast!!

Wow~~~ can you see this huge crowd? After the river and a few dazzling tunnels you arrive at a station. From there you transfer to a train.

It takes about 15 minutes and the course ends at Gangchon Station…

Oh right!! The rail bike is one-way only.

All of these people were tourists from Southeast Asia. It was hard to spot a Korean.
