VOOST, a Wine Bar Worth Visiting in Pangyo
Translated from the Korean original.

I seem to end up in Pangyo a lot these days. I live close to Pangyo Station, and lately, for all sorts of reasons, it has become a place I visit often.
Even so, the only place I ever went was the Hyundai Department Store in Pangyo, haha. Whenever I actually set out, I could never quite decide where to go, heh.
Ah… last summer I did get to look around Kakao’s headquarters. If I go again, I’ll write it up.
This place, VOOST, is somewhere I visited at the end of the year. Since it was the holiday season I wanted a bit more atmosphere, so I searched for somewhere different and settled on the Josun Hotel rooftop at Gravity Seoul Pangyo!!
Full of anticipation, I finally went late in the afternoon. It belongs to the Josun Hotel group, so my expectations were even higher. I couldn’t take photos, but on the first floor of the lobby there is the Josun Hotel
bakery, Josun Deli. It’s on the 19th floor, and when you step off the elevator and press that bell on your left, the door opens and a whole new world spreads out in front of you.

I went at night so the photos came out dark, but because it was night the lighting was soft, which made it even better for drinking, hehe. Opening hours are 17:00 to 01:00 every day.
If you visit VOOST you get three hours of free parking in the hotel. Inside, it has an upmarket feel, as if you had walked into a gallery cafe or a restaurant.
The botanical mood gives it an exotic feel too, which made it something different.

You can book through CatchTable and choose between the main hall, a private room, the terrace or the bar. I was too shy, so that is the only photo of the room I managed to take, heh.
The terrace sits inside a transparent dome, air-conditioned and roomy inside. As I remember it, each table had to order KRW 200,000
or more — that was the condition. It is private enough that I thought it would be perfect for a special gathering with friends.

The promotion has ended now, but at first, since it was just two women going, we thought we would never order that much… and in the end the bill came to more than that amount…
The cocktails just went down like water, one after another, hehe.

Isn’t the color alone enough to make it look delicious? Hehe. The food was great too… and I ended up buying extra of those stick snacks… and of course more cocktails too…

With its stylish, upmarket interior and a private rooftop, I’d recommend it as a date course in Pangyo…
Next time I’ll write up somewhere else around Pangyo. Do you come to Pangyo too, neighbors? If you do, share where you go~~~
There must be some good places worth visiting… hehe
